Sauda
Sauda is an African name and means ‘dark beauty’. I feel this little poppet is well-named. She has no unhappy history, instead she was found in Half Moon Street, Ashcourt. We think she was in a pram or buggy and was jostled out when the carriage was driven over the cobbled walkway. She was eventually spotted, having been kicked into a gutter, and delivered to my door. I have since advertised her but have had no success in finding her previous owner. She says she would like to move on and find another new home. Sauda is a joyful soul. Just stare into her eyes and you will start smiling. Her arms are always outstretched waiting for a hug or two.
