Morana was created by a heart-broken young lady who eventually wasted away from her love-sickness. Before she died she sent Morana to the man who had jilted her, writing that as soon as he touched the poppet he would always see Morana’s face in any reflective surface he peered into. Despite burying the doll in the Doll’s Graveyard, Haxfield, Hookland (where I rescued her) the errant individual is still haunted by the death-face of Morana, as a constant reminder how not to treat any future lovers he might have.
