Maizey hails from the heart of Hookland’s agricultural land. She has a strong local accent but I think that, over time, your ears will grow accustomed to it and you’ll enjoy her chatter – and she can talk this girl! She wasn’t made for anything sinister – although her appearance might make you think twice. In fact she was a Samhain (Hallowe’en) offering to the dear departed. She proudly stood on a coven’s altar but was spirited away by one of the members who had fallen for Maizey’s cheerful personality. After many years, and many adventures, Maizey ended up in The Copper Cauldron – my local pub in Ashcourt. I was immediately requested to find a forever home for her and it is my pleasure to do so.
