“As June ends, windowsills become home to Moss Maiden malkins. No-one now knows if the tradition started as ward or an invite to bless. Old is the mystery.”
David Southwell - Hookland Guide
Spring is in the air and the bare breasted Moss Maidens of Hookland are stirring. They love to sit in the sun but also imbue any home with a sense of peace. They hold sacred knowledge of woodlands, meadows, moors and dark hollows. They are good listeners too and are happy to share the joys and lows of your family life. Just make sure you sit them in your windowsill between June Solstice and July 1st for three nights or they will search for a new home.
